Welcome

to Lost Souls University – the People's Underground University. Forever free and built by you and me. I go by Dilemma and I'm leaving elite higher education after 14 years – 6 years as a student and 8 years as an academic advisor. I'm doing so to begin working towards creating a totally different kind of university based on a pedagogy of liberation that's aiming explicitly at revolution. I want to help build something that centers radical, dissident, progressive, and revolutionary scholars and artists in America and the rest of the West. Soon, I will be proposing purpose and principles for LSU, sharing my critique of elite higher education, and reaching out to connect with others who may be crazy enough to join me. I know I'm in good company with so many kindred spirits from higher ed who find the current system fatally flawed and are also considering these same ideas and actions that I am but wondering how it could happen – so let's figure it out together!
